This year Licton Springs plans to hold an all-school event on the last Friday of each month. it may be a fun assembly, a walk to the park, extra recess, or a movie in the cafeteria.

📚✨ You’re Invited: Camp Read‑A‑Lot! ✨📚

Friday February 27 at 1:30 p.m. in the Gym

Get ready for one of our coziest reading events of the year—Camp Read‑A‑Lot!

Students and Families are invited to step into a magical, camp style reading experience right in the Licton Springs gym.

🌟 What to Expect

  • Gather around “campfires” for cozy read aloud and independent reading time
  • Bring any books you LOVE: picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, comics, manga
  • Check out brand new and highly requested books being introduced in the library this month
  • Enjoy reading in the dark with flashlights
  • Relax on yoga mats for comfy sitting
  • Listen to nature ambience from our sound machine
  • Wear your PJs for extra coziness!
  • Make camp style crafts like friendship bracelets and finger knitting

🎁 Special Extras

  • Raffle: mini notebooks, invisible ink pens, and free books
  • S’more snacks mix around the campfire in the pit.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone for a day of stories, imagination, and camp style fun.
Come ready to read, relax, and enjoy the magic of Camp Read‑A‑Lot!

Parents can choose from books we’ll have available (for one-on-one or small group read aloud) and/or can bring their own books (to read alongside). Siblings are invited to come read with us too!
