In 2014, Licton Springs K-8 reached out to the community with the need for a logo/mascot.

Mr. Roger Fernandes, talented artist, story-teller, and Native American educator, honored us with his great depiction of the Thunderbird. We are proud to have Mr. Fernandes as a stakeholder in the Licton Springs K-8 community.
