Celebration of Life for Principal McWashington
Dear Licton Springs Families, Staff, and Students,
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Ammon McWashington, who left us on Sunday, February 1.
Ammon was the principal at Licton Springs Fall or 2024- present. Ammon’s warmth, wisdom, and steady leadership made a lasting impact on the Licton Springs staff and community.
His Lasting Impact
Ammon was a champion for all students and his steady leadership was a welcome breathe of fresh air for the Licton Springs community.
- For our Students: He was a champion of potential. Whether through a kind word in the hallway or a firm belief in their abilities, he made sure every child felt seen and valued.
- For our Staff: He was a trusted colleague and a source of stability. His perspective and dedication reminded us daily of the “why” behind our work.
- For our Families: He was a welcoming face and a bridge-builder, helping to foster the sense of “home” that defines the Licton Springs community.
He taught us that true leadership isn’t always about being the loudest voice in the room but about having the biggest heart.
