Hi, I'm Christa! I moved to Seattle from Chicago, where I taught special education for the Deaf and hard of hearing for 7 years. I came to the Emerald City for the mountain views and the fresh air. I am delighted to act as long-term substitute for the Academic Intervention Specialist. I love to work with all students across all grade levels, connecting with and supporting them with kindness and care. I also work weekends serving at a Ballard restaurant, and in my spare time, I love to read, snuggle with my two cats, and play all kinds of board and video games.
