We welcome tours throughout the school year! Licton Springs K-8 is located in the Ballard neighborhood in North Seattle in the Webster School Building, the previous site of Nordic Heritage museum in NW Seattle.

During the school day all outside doors are locked for safety. You can access the Licton Springs office through the North entrance, on 68th. Street parking is available in the neighborhood, for accessible parking and ADA entry, enter the parking area on 68th between 30th and 32nd.

Parking and Traffic Circulation

• NEW: Be mindful of the new stop signs at the traffic circle at 30th and 68th. (see image below)
• Parent drop off is along the south side of 68th street (see image below)
  • If you are dropping your student, please do so on the south side of the street, (heading east)
  • If you are parking and walking in with your child, you may park on the north side of the street (heading west), or along 30th street
• Do not park and get out of your car along 68th in the eastbound side
• When dropping off student in the drop off zone, wait in line with the other cars until you have reached the drop zone before allowing your students out of the car
• Do not let students out of your car on the north side of 68th Street or on 30th street, unless you are walking them in.
• Students walk through the parking lot in the morning to access the cafeteria. Do not pull into the parking lot to drop your student off unless you are accessing the disabled parking spots.
• After dropping your student, continue around the block. No U-Turns.
• Be a good neighbor when parking. Do not block driveways or mail-boxes, obey No Parking signs.
• If you are arriving after 7:55 a.m., please drop your student at the front of the school so that they can check in at the office. Cafeteria and other side doors are locked at 7:55 a.m.
• Please be mindful of our families that walk and bike to school when using nearby intersections.
• Make safety a top priority!
