    Licton Springs offers electives to its seventh and eighth graders. These are some electives that have been offered in the past.

    Film Studies
    Students learn and practice the skills of visual and literary analysis as they explore classic Hollywood cinema.

    Holocaust Studies
    Students explore how the Holocaust happened, how people resisted the Nazis and their collaborators, and how we can prevent future genocide.

    Environmental Science
    Students study how humans interact with the environment and the systems that are at risk because of this interaction.

    Technology
    Students improve their typing, word processing, spreadsheet, programming, web search, and video editing.

    Robotics (an optional subcomponent of the Technology elective)
    Students enhance their programming experience with LEGO Mindstorms robots.
