    We have salmon!
    Posted on 01/05/2017

This afternoon, we introduced 220 Chum salmon eggs to the fish tank on the 2nd floor. Maggie's class will care for the eggs, alevin, and fry. The tank has been covered to keep it dark and calm for the new eggs and will be uncovered next week.

Maggie's class will feed the fish, test the water for ammonia and nitrates, change the water, and clean the tank. They will release the fish into the lake in the spring.
